We set up a child theme in anticipation of upgrading to the new version of DW-Focus, and it works, but it loses all the widget and menu settings that have taken us weeks to set up. How can we copy these settings from MySQL?

Hi,
Please re-active the theme again. Then go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets, drag and drop the widgets that you have installed in to Inactive Widgets. After you active the child theme, go to Widgets again and drag and drop those widgets back to the old positions.
