I’m wondering how that is created within the theme. I purchased it but don’t immediately see a way to create this. Is it simply a post with some css formatting or is it a custom post type?

Dominic Hello Andre ! If you want to create a “Live Evant” post as our demo, you can do as the following:
1. Log in to Dashboard > Posts > Add new.
2. Add the following content to the Text frame:
URL: http://snippi.com/s/d513hiu
Notice: We have used few line HTML in the post, you can reference in the content that I provided.
