How to modify the bottom section if I want to change the background color and the related info?

Under the widget area, I cannot see any content, but I managed to change the code in sidebar-footer.php. The customized code works for the footer. Thanks.

My other question is how can I add a repeated background image inside the content area? Please advise.

Hi Yui Wa Tso,
– You can modify the bottom section in Dashboard / Appearance / Widgets page (Sidebar 6 & 7 positions).
For example, here is the content of DW simplex demo site:

– If you want to change background color of bottom section, please go to Dashboard / Appearance / Customize / Custom Code, and add the code below to Header Code section:

color: #fff;
background: #000;
}
</style>
