Issue with subscribers in DW Q&A

Every subscriber that answers a question it has STAFF next to their name. Why is this happening?

Also under notification in the settings the lower part where you put in the email stuff shows up for a bout 4 seconds then disappears. I still see the new question, new answer, new comment on the right but the whole portion to the left is gone and no save button.
