I’d like to perform a couple of customizations that I’ve seen described elsewhere here — such as removing categories from the ask page (https://www.designwall.com/question/remove-question-category-drop-down) and then also from the breadcrumbs (https://www.designwall.com/question/breadcrumbs-remove-category-but-leave-questions-breadcrumb).
The solutions described, however, involve editing core plugin files. So that means every time the plugin updates, my changes will be lost.
Is there any way to achieve these changes in a manner that won’t be overwritten with every plugin update?

DominicYes, If you want to remove this sections, you can remove in the core plugin. However, If you want to hide the tags section, you can use CSS code.
