Preselect the category

I have created links that navigates to each category page and displays questions related to that particular category.
However, if I click on “Ask a question” button in that particular questions page, the page navigates
to “www.mydomain.com/dwqa-ask-question/” in which user is forced to select a category.
So is there a way to pre select the particular category in drop down whenever user
clicks on “Ask a question” button?

At the moment, we have included the Shortcode to submit a question for each category [dwqa-submit-question-form category=”catslug”]
