Hi, I recently bought your DW Focus theme and I’m trying to implement it in my existing blog. I use the European date format (dd/mm/yyyy) and all the dates are being shown as 01/01/1970. If I change the format to American one (mm/dd/yyyy) everything is fine, but this format is not accepted here in Britain or in Spain, where my users are.

Any quick fix for this?

Silly question – and my apologies if you’ve done this – but have you set the UK-style date in the general settings of WordPress?

Make sure you get the case right, I use:

l, j F Y

which gives me:

Monday, 13 May 2013

You could try switching themes to see if the fault moves or stays with DW.

Yes obviously, is in general settings where I’m changing the format. Funilly enough it seems to be the format “d/m/Y” the only one that doens’t work. With “d-m-Y” it works fine. So it’s not a massive problem.

Hi !
You can log in to Dashboard > Settings > General > Date Format select and change  “l, F j, Y”

Regards,

Dominic
