reactions showing in post content for notifications

Hi there,
I have your dw reactions plugin installed and also better wp notifications.
The notifications are set up to send when a new article is created for review.
When the notification e-mail gets sent, the content includes the reactions in a list – like so:

There is a new article created and awaiting review and publishing.

The details of the article are as follows:

Posted in Topic: Testing our new topic notification category
Tagged as: Tutorial

So it’s as though the reactions options are sent along with the article content.
How can i avoid this?
