The best image sizes for the featured images

Thumbnail Sizes

I am uploading some test images, many of which are high res. When I look at a category page, the thumbnails seem very blurry and grainy compared to the example site on DesignWall. Can you tell me the best practice / image sizes I should be using for the featured images so they aren’t distorted?

My DW Argo theme use the size images 250 x 250 for the posts, and you need to add a 500×500 image so that it displays correctly on the metro style homepage.

If this problem does not yet resolve, you can send me username & password your site for further checking.

May you mistake our theme with other themes? I think that you did not use our theme. Please check again and let me know the result.
