Translation files do not work

I uploaded modified .mo and .po files to my site but translated text don’t appear.
DWQA 1.0.7, last version you sent me with the corrected bug for the notifications.
Tried to modify functions.php but no luck…

Thanks Dominic for inspecting my website and finding out that Polylang plugin caused the problem.
Instead of deactivating it, I found that changing one of Polylang options (permalink) solved the conflict and now the DWQA translation works perfectly!
