Hi!
I have purchased DW Simplex and want to use DW Question & Answer on a polish website. I’m translating the file dwqa-pl_PL.po, but there are still some translation issues: There is no such line in my po-file, where I can translate “Write a reply…”, “Public” / “Private” or the month when a question was asked. And where I can translate “Post this Question as Private.”? Is there a second translation file?
I’m looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks!

Hello Dawid !
Please do as the following:
– Translate “Write a reply…” :
You can open the comments.php file in the folder path “wp-content\plugins\dw-question-answer\inc\templates\default”. Find the line 30 of the file.
– Translate “Public” / “Private”:
Please open the actions.php file in the folder path “wp-content\plugins\dw-question-answer\inc”. Find the line 931 & line 932.

– Translate ”Post this Question as Private.”:
Open the template-functions.php file in the folder path “wp-content\plugins\dw-question-answer\inc”. Find the line 282.
Hope this helps !

Hi Dominic,

Hi Dominic,

I have a second question: Where I can translate “Not found! Try another keyword.”? It pops always up when you write something in the search what isn’t in the forum. I tried to implement a translation in my dwqa-pl_PL.po but “Not found! Try another keyword.” is still showing up.

Do you have any idea?

Thank you!!

Ciao,
Dawid

Hi Dawid !
To translate the "Not found! Try another keyword" section in the search form, you can open the dw-question-answer.php file in the folder path" \wp-content\plugins\dw-question-answer\inc". Find the line 286.

Hmmm, in that file I can’t find “Not found! Try another keyword”. Is there another option to translate it?

Hi Dominic!

Thank you very much! Thank you for your quick response! 🙂

By the way -> Wouldn’t it be better (for some future updates of “DW Question & Answer”) if you could integrate also such phrases to the translation file? It would be much easier to translate your plugin (which I really enjoy).

Ciao,
Dawid
