I’ve just gone from the free dw-timeline theme to the pro version and really miss the option to have a header menu (rather than the pop-out menu button on the right). Am I missing the option to display that somewhere or is it really gone?

To resolve this issue, you can log in to Dashboard > Customize > Navigation. then enable primary navigation.

Tried that already, didn't solve the problem. All it did is remove the second pop-out menu button, but not replace it with the header menu

You can try log in to Dashboard > Appearance > Menu, then select the Primary Navigation in the Menu Settings.

You can log in to Dashboard > Appearance > Menu, then add the Custom Menu widget to the Primary.

That’s totally unrelated to my original question/problem.

Meanwhile I’ve tracked down what’s happening. It’s something to do with the page auto-adjusting/scaling to different screen sizes/resolutions. I’m currently using a 10in. netbook (1024×600) to view the site, and it appears like this http://prntscr.com/4ari37

If I then re-scale the page by zooming out to 90% on Chrome, the right-hand menu icon vanishes and the header menu appears, just as I want it to. http://prntscr.com/4aridz

What I essentially want to do, then, is stop the header menu from changing to a right-hand pop-out menu on smaller displays.

Do you understand the issue better now, and what can I do to solve it?

I’ve been unable to figure out how to place the top header menu in the header of the site. I like the pull out menu, but I have to have the main menu at the top as I have seem used in this template before. I even see something referencing it in your notes (see image) but can not figure out how to add it to the top of the site, please help?![enter image description here](http://brothertonadoption.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/primary-menu.png "enter image title here")

I’m having a similar problem here.

My version is WordPress 4.3.1 + DW Timeline Pro 1.0.7

The [Dashboard > Customize > Navigation] is even not there in my Dashboard!!!
http://prntscr.com/9451a2

There is only [Dashboard > Customize > Menus] there and as you can see the options inside is different.

There is no such thing as [Enable Primary Navigation] [Use Menu Icon?].
http://prntscr.com/9451a3

Hope someone can help, thanks 🙂
