I want to have hints for keywords on focus in “Add question” page. I would really appreciate your answer on what should I do to make that happen.

At the moment, the plugin does not support to make the feature. In your case, you need to customize the plugin and can make the Tags show select dropdown look like Categories. If you want to have it, we are ready to help you as a custom work with a charge of fee.
