I have followed the DWQA guide VERY closely, twice, when installing DWQA.
Under BuddyPress integration, I follow all the steps.
In the FInal Step you show a screenshot of a profile page that looks like your profile page here
However, this is my profile page It looks nothing like the screenshot, and it looks nothing like your profile page.
However, I can see the new "Questions" area, and new questions and comments show up in my activity.
Why does mine not look like your screenshot? I’ve tried using DW Minion, and I’ve tried twenty twelve. Do I need to buy a premium theme?
Hi Kido!
It probably would be a good idea to develop the Nex theme for sale soon π
i agree \m/ π
We will consider this idea Guru π
I agree, too. So far of all the themes, Nex seems to be the perfect balance of design, functionality, and user experience / UI of all the themes for DWQA (at least for my needs.)
I don’t know what the $tones thing really is, and I wouldn’t have a need for the downloads as part of the profile. Aside from that, I love the Experts page. It’s the perfect QA theme. I’m ready to buy! π
its because of the css,the thing is the theme used by designwall plus theit custom css is what making profile look like as seen in your attached screenshot the integration thing you were talking about was for creating a questions tab plus making dwqa compatible with your site as seen in your site you have integrated the plugin very well and have also been able to create a questions tab to show questions asked by you but if you want the profile to look like designwall you have to edit a lot of css or just buy the theme used by designwall on this site the theme is named as nex as seen from source code but i think the theme actually used is simplex which you can buy from designwall from here http://designwall.com/wordpress/themes/dw-simplex/
Thanks hope it helps !!!
but still there is lot of customization which needs to be done to make it look exactly like as seen in the screenshot you attached above
@well wisher, thank you for your reply. After many hours of digging, I've concluded that the screenshot that is shown is different than what I can achieve (or what others can achieve).
That is VERY CONFUSING and I hope that DW will remedy this confusion by providing a different screenshot.
However, I think DW has done such a fantastic job. I certain don't mind paying for a premium theme to achieve that functionality.
Can you, or a member of DW staff confirm or deny, that I need to buy a specific theme to achieve this? If I do, which theme is it? I'll be happy to buy it! Just tell me which one for certain.
Thanks!

i was out for few days apologies for the late reply, i see that you have already bought one of my favorite premium theme cinematix to use on your buddypress site,plus all your other doubts has been already cleared by @kido and @harsh yes i agree with you and @guru may be moderated version if not original of theme Nex should be made available for sale by designwall soon as they may be loosing lots of hot deals and sales π π
Hi Blue,
The Buddypress profile layout in our site is the custom code we made only for DesignWall. And we don’t have a theme for it yet. The theme we use for our live site is Nex, and it’s not available for sale.
In DW Simplex theme we have restyled the Buddypress layout, but it’s not looks exactly like the screenshot above (http://demo.designwall.com/dw-simplex/members/admin/activity/).
As Well Wisher has said, CSS and code would be needed and I think it would be better if you create and style a new version for your theme. Hope for your understanding.

@ Kido D Hello Kido D. Thank you for the response. I look forward to seeing that functionality should you decide to make it available.
What I’m mostly interested in, however, is, under the photo, you count the number of “Questions, Answers, and Comments.”
Is that PHP something you think you could share with the community?
Thanks so much!
Blue
Hi Blue,
You can add below in your theme/members/single/member-header.php.
$question_count = dwqa_user_question_count( $user_id );
$answer_count = dwqa_user_answer_count( $user_id );
$comment_count = dwqa_user_comment_count( $user_id );
echo “Question $question_count Answeres $answer_count Comments $comment_count”;
?>
You can place above code according to appear it below the photo.
Regards,
Harsh
