DominicPlease check your site now. I helped you resolve the widget issue in the post. Also, to add the ads to the Header, you can log in to Dashboard > Appearance > Widget > Header > Text widget, then you need to replace our image links here with your image links:

Sorry, the problem is not on Blog sidebar, but any single article.
The sidebar of articles (also if is setting on “widget”) remain blank

To resolve this issue, you can log in to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks then select ” Default”. See the screenshot:
