Bug: slider options are on the top of the slider instead of the bottom

I wish I could add a screenshot but when I add a gallery, the slider options (arrows and squares) appear on the top of the image, not on the bottom.
Can you explain exactly the procedure to add a gallery, or is this a bug?

the little circles of the slider appear on the right position, but the arrows are always above. I tried different galleries and it never works properly.
