Can i restrict deletion of user own questions

Q:
Can i restrict deletion of user own questions if there is an answer or reply from other user or admin?

I read here that the user can always (by default) edit or delete her/his question/answer/replay.

For example:
what happens if user posts question and it gets several answers and replies then this user deletes his question – do all the answers and replies get deleted?

At the moment, you can log into Dashboard > Questions > Settings > Permission tabs and change the permission for the user role. Also, if you allow user edit questions, the author can edit question of mine and of other authors. We are checking and update this option to unallowed author edit all the question (other authors)

this did not answer my question…

I will try to qualify. I need to be able to disallow user to delete/edit their own question after a set period of time. WP has this option on comments. bbpress has this option. it would make sense to have this option for the reasons in my original post

I know what you want now. Currently, our plugin does not support this option. I think it’s great idea, I sent and notice to our technical team about this feature, we will discuss about it.
