I have now translated the plugin to my language, I had to go through the php files to translate everything 100%, but it still seems that I can’t translate the status?

When the status on a single question is “active” it is in English, when you try to select another status, it shows it in Norwegian. I want the active status to show in Norwegian as well. I’ve tried to change the php in single-question, but it won’t change?

Also, when you change the status, a popup box says if i’m sure about the change of the status, how can I translate that as well?

Hello Kirby !
– Regarding the “Status” can not translate, you can send me your site for further checking.
– To translate the “Are you sure about that change?” popup when you change Status, You can open the dwqa-single-question.js file in the folder  path “plugins\dw-question-answer\inc\templates\default\assets\js”. Find the line 110.

I have checked your site, You can open the single-question.php file in the folder path ““plugins\dw-question-answer\inc\templates\default”. Find the line 109 to line 145, You can change status here.

I’ve already done that, it still won’t change. Thatis my problem, see the image I attached in thepost above. As you can see, It’s only when it’s active that it’s not in my language.

This is the only thing I have left to translate to my language.

I am having the same problem as well. I translated it in Norwegian too, and I have two things left – 1) The one you are mentioning, and 2) In question archive page it shows “Category:” instead of translating that into my language. I have used POeditor.

If I remember correctly, I changed the “Category” in /dw-question-answer/inc/templates/default/content-question.php

Hello Javad M !
To change the “Category” you can open the single-question.php file in the folder path “/dw-question-answer/inc/templates/default/”

Hi Kirby !
I can not Register on the site for further checking, You can send me username & password of your site.

Dominic,

I opened the file, but I can’t seem to find the line. Which line is it – can you copy-paste the phrase?

Any resolution to our problem yet?

Found another problem. It seems that the new versions don’t have any updated .po files (?)

I’ve translated it 2 times now to norwegian to be sure that it is correctly translated, and it still won’t change language where I want it to as mentioned above:
“Please login or Registrer to Submit Answer” – Won’t change in php file. Does not exist in .po file
“Active status is in English, not the translated language” – Won’t change in php file.
and now the new option: “Archive page show at most” is not possible to translate in the .po files. It’s not there.
Any ideas? I have my website ready to launch, but I am missing these lines to translate.

I have now translated everything again, and now you have included everything I needed to change in the php files by themselves. Good job!

However, I still can’t change the status. It is still in englsih when it is active.
That is the only thing I have left now to translate.
