Change meta description

Pls is there a way to change the meta descriptions of questions for google and social sharing. My site uses the "vote up, vote down………" as description. Will want to be able to add custom meta description. Tried yoast seo but didnt find a way around. Thanks

Have you tried log in to Dashboard > Q&A > ALL Question > Editor question then add the Meta description/ social in the WordPress SEO by Yoast section under content section.
