I see other people have had this problem, but I can’t see a solution. Basically, the widgets that require other widgets to be dragged on to them are not working. You drag the widget on and nothing happens. Cheers!

More info – I’ve tried in two different browsers – Chrome and IE. Also tried deactivating all plugins. Same result.

I had the same problem. Check the plugins and the version of wordpress or whatever you use.

Just tested this in a localhost with a clean (latest) version of wordpress and dwfocus.
It does work, so i can confirm what aitolnews says and agree that you probably need to update something..

At the moment, the DW Focus isn’t yet already to be compatible with the latest WordPress 3.9.
Please note that, the WordPress latest release has included lots of changes and we are already working on that to make it compatible so that it’s taking some time and we will release it in the next two weeks.

I have checked your site and DW Accordion & Tabs still working fine.
At the moment, you just possible use the DW Accordion widget on the sidebar.
Please find here for the document guide on how to configure the theme as our demo: http://cmspioneer.com/designwall/guide/dw-focus/

Hi, sorry for the late response, I’ve been away. I tried it with a clean install, using the quickstart sample data, and it does indeed work, it must have been something left over from a previous theme that was causing the error. Thanks for looking into it anyway.

Firstly, please deactivate all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one and let us know if you find the problematic plugin(s). Maybe there is a conflict in plugins.
If you still face there issue, you can send me username & password of your site for further checking (via private answer).

I ran into the same issue and worked out what the problem was (for me anyway)
I have the following line in my child theme functions.php: define(‘DW_TEMPLATE_URI’, get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . ‘/’ );
If i remove the line, the widgets work fine. To fix it I copied the assets/admin folders from the parent theme to my child theme and now it works with the extra line in my functions.php.
Hope that helps.

I am using DW Argo, and both DW Accordion and DW Tabs are not working per your guide even with all the plugins deactivated. Please investigate.

Same here. After deactivating “visibility” function from jetpack, it is working fine. Any solution/fix from developers on this ?

Hi,
Currently, this problem is conflicting with Jetpack widget. We don’t check and fix it yet right now. We send and notify our technical team, so that we will update and check.
