dwqa question status

Hello,
how can I import dwqa status, from other forum?
When I import questions/answer I see custom field dwqa_status, I looked into status.php, there are statuses open, resolved, open and closed (for others).
I would like to add status “new” (for unanswered questions), how can I do it? “new” is under the status open.
