How can I change the author name to the first name or WP display name?

Hi Mike,
To change the display name in DW Q&A plugin, you can go to Dashboard / Users / Edit user / Display name publicly as:

Thanks for your answer Kido D but that would mean editing ALL the user profiles on the site.
I was looking for a solution that would pull the display name from the database.

Hi Mike,
Sorry but we can’t help you with this, the DW Q&A plugin uses the default display name of WordPress Users, there is no other choice except the solution above.

MMM I thought that I read somewhere about removing the authors name completely. Surely if it can be removed it can also be changed to show the username instead of display name? I could be wrong?
