How to prevent 404 not found page?

Hi,
How can we prevent the 404 not found page from going back to the question main page from single question page?
When going back to the main question page, the url attaches empty \”sort by\” parameter which results in 404 not found. (i.e., https://www.designwall.com/question/Sort%20by)
