I keep getting permission denied errors when trying to update question answers

I keep getting this error:
{“success”:false,”data”:{“message”:”You do not have permission to edit this post”}}

This happens when I am admin trying to edit answers. It also happens when users who wrote the answer try to edit their own answers. Have you seen this before? Idea of why it may be happening?
