New line gets removed after posting question or answer

Hi,
I am facing a problem on the site in posting the question and/or the answer.
 
When I enter the question description or the answer with a new line break, it doesn’t honour the line breaks, and the whole content appears as just one paragraph.
I see that this plugin had this problem 6 years ago and I guess it must be solved, but I am facing this issue again.
Please provide a resolution to this problem.
