Hi,

When someone who hasn’t logged in asks a question and it gets an answer, that person doesn’t receive a notification via email.

Is this intentional or is it a bug?

Yes, the plugin does not support to send the notification email to the anonymous user. Just supported the user logged to asks the questions.

Thanks, Dominic. Why is that? Version 1.0.5 allows this.

Yes, we have disabled this option in the latest version. The plugin will not save the email of the anonymous user.

What was the reason for that?
I think it’s better that some users can post questions without registering.
Will this change be reversed in the future?
Or do you guys plan to create an option in settings for this?

I found it. Somehow Google Drive didn’t notify me. Sorry.

I installed the version and it works correctly. Now the anonymous user does receive email notifications of answers.

Thanks so much for this fix!
