Q&A Pro compatibility with Newspaper X

Hello there,
 
i’m about to migrate my theme from smartmag to newspaper X
 
i’m running some tests on a demo domain and among the things i’m trying to fix i notice some issues with Q&A Pro
 
to ber specific, i get critical error and the theme is not loaded properly, example:

any suggestion on how to fix this issue?
Something strange i also notice, in the wp-admin i get a prompt to update the plugin but from your codecanyon i can’t notice version 1.2.5

Any help?
