Hi

We have a blog on our company intranet. Our users are automatically logged on via SSO thanks to Active Directory.

We would like to establish a Q&A page but would like the ability for the users to post questions anonymously.

Due to the nature of the Active Directory integration, they cannot sign out of the blog to post while not logged in and therefore would not be able to post a question anonymously.

Is there a way for the question to have an option to post anonymously. Ideally this would be a checkbox that would anonymize the post by removing the username.

Could this be achieved by modifying the form?

Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please tell me detail about this issue, I still vague about your question. If you want to find another option to post the anonymous question on your site. Currently, the Q&A only an option to change the permission and allow anonymous post question. However, you can tell me more info and send me username & password of your site for further checking. I will have an answer to you after checking your site.

Hi Dominic

The site is an intranet behind a corporate firewall. I cannot give you access.

Our Intranet runs on IIS and is integrated with AD.

There is no logout option for the users.

We would like the users to be able to ask a question anonymously even though they are logged in.

Ideally, what would be great would be if the user could select to ask and anonymous question. This would not record who asked the question.

I assume this would be a customisation. Can it be done?

Thanks

At the moment, the plugin does not support this option. However, I sent and notified our technical team about this problem. We will discuss it.
