Sliders & Home Categories not working as expected

Hey,
I updated the wordpress latest version 3.9.2 and then I am getting issues on my home page. The website is thedailyeye.info The slider should show posts from “Latest” category instead it has started showing posts as per they were published from any category.
Below, the categories are also showing the same error, instead of showing from a particular category, they are showing latest articles published.
In the admin section I am not able to toggle in the widget section
