The DWQA guide instructs that we should set ‘static’ to ‘Questions’ as the home page in the Reading settings. This page uses Default Template as it’s template file.
I’m using DW Minion, and I need to change some of the HTML elements for this template.
However, even if I modify index.php or page.php, the structure of the DWQA default Question page does not change. If I turn off DWQA plugin, then page.php modifications show up correctly.
Obviously, DWQA is taking control of this template file. Which DW Minion template file or which DWQA template file do I modify to change how that template.php file is structured? Or, asked differently, how do I modify the home page template when ‘static’ is set to ‘Questions’ as instructed in the guide?

Hi Presley may be you should use “what the file” plugin for finding things out according to me its single -question.php for single question page and so on…

Hi there,
You can change the DW Q&A template in plugins/dw-question-answer/inc/templates/default folder. But I’ll recommend you to create a new folder in your theme folder, named it “dwqa-templates”, and copy all the .php files in the template folder above to that new folder. After that, you can modify the template files without any effect on the Q&A plugin.
Let us know if you need anything further, my friend!

If you using the child theme, you can create the folder in the child theme.
