I am editing my User Profile, and I see no place to upload my User photo. I installed the Fancier Author Box plugin, which requires me to use a Gravatar image. I thought that maybe this plugin was interfering with something, so I deactivated it. But no, the User photo upload area is still missing. I went down the line of all my plugins, deactivating each one, one by one. In Settings>>Discussion, “Show Avatars” is checked. Still, no User photo upload area. The site in question is http://stopmotionhaiku.com
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi Andrew ,the wordpress structure only allows to use gravatar images there is no such functionality for adding a user pic in there by default,if you are willing to do some profiling and social media thing then you may like add buddypress plugin which allows you and your site users to upload their own avatars on your site, else there was a plugin named some author avatar(i dont exactly remember the name) which lets you use an image uploaded to media library as the avatar,if thats your only requirement hope that clarifies your doubts and help you thanks

Hello,
Thank you. I didn’t realize that putting the e-mail address associated with my Gravatar into the User Profile e-mail field would automatically retrieve up the user image. I was expecting to see an image upload area, or at least a field named “Gravatar” to retrieve the Gravatar profile — but now I see that’s not the case. Anyway, I put the Gravatar e-mail address, and now it’s syncing up fine. Thanks for your help!
