Argo is our first responsive WordPress theme that support trendy Off-canvas Navigation on mobile devices and tablets for the main menu.
Quick introduction about Off-canvas navigation: it’s a design pattern which takes advantage of the off-the-screen space and allows to have 2 or 3 panels that would be displayed differently based on the device’s width.

We, of course, don’t stop at the default navigation, we make it better. On this theme, we add the mobile/tablet touch swipe event handling and vertical scrolling. Now, you and your readers have full control over the menu on your hands.

Article page with Keyboard Navigation

Isn’t it much more comfortable and faster to actually push a button (physical one) to read through articles than mouse click and scrolling? With a thought of how to enhance online news reading experience on mind, we have added keyboard navigation to our Article pages. Now readers can quickly navigate between articles using arrow keyboards.

Furthermore, we use Ajax to load the content and this helps to read new articles without reloading the whole website.

The secondary menu displays all the categories and here we support different designs for desktops, mobile devices and tablets. The goal is to give the best UI and UX for the news site and for readers to navigate all the categories in the most comfortable way.
