In the process of building WooBeginner – a side project of DesignWall related to WooCommerce. We have decided to develop a plugin for WordPress called DW Shortlinks to create inbound & outbound links but still use your own domain. At the same time, you can tracking how many clicks on that link. After complete, we decided to release it for free on WordPress.org to contribute more to the WordPress community. And to help those who have the same needs are able to use and add more ideas to make this product become impeccable.
How it Works?
DW Shortlinks adds a new custom post type to your Admin menu, where you can create, edit, delete and manage short links by 301 redirects. What’s great about DW Shortlinks is that it tracks click counts and saves them as a custom field. it’s really simple & cool and there is no setup involved. It works seamlessly straight out of the box for whichever theme and plugins you are using.
