Mike Is it possible to make members pay to ask a question? I am using Wishlist Member plugin for site subscriptions and this has the ability to create a ‘pay per post’. I was wondering if anyone had done this before?

By the way, good idea Mike! Actually someone has asked before for the Point system for this plugin, and I think it could be similar to your idea: pay to ask/ pay to view answer sort of.
We have plan for this function already, but it will take time to develop it.
Carlos takemura@Jin – this is something we are interested in too and there are various ways we are exploring this.
One idea is to pay to answer (because the answer could lead to business), so a system of credits might work where 1 credit = 1 answer.
I’m not sure how long you will take to develop it but in the meantime we are exploring a membership plugin to handle paid sign ups and controlling access to the dashboard etc.

Agree with Carlos about the points system where each answer gets a reward of x points. (and even like a paid answer gets listed higher than the other questions in listings)
But at the same time if there is an ability of paying for the answer directly, lets say through paypal, it would be fantastic.
The points and rewards system needs to be evolved properly so it can fit all types of needs.
We can all certainly help with ideas and feedback.
