change the category name

These settings are for setting question post type permalink. I have kept it as https://www.example.com/question/question-name and its working fine. My question is different.

My Question is about accessing list of questions under category page.
For example. Default WordPress categories are accessed using this link
https://www.example.com/category/uncategorized/

here when I try to access question post type categories, URL has “dwqa-question_category”. Can we replace “dwqa-question_category” with something else ?

Yes, if you want to change the categories name in the permalink of the DW Q&A you can change in the Categories base box in the settings section of the plugin. However, you can replace this dwqa-question_category with the name as WordPress post categories.

I do not want to use WordPress post categories as there will be used for normal posts.
I need to have separate categories however their name needs to be much cleaner.

Yes, Have you tried to change the categories in the Question Category Base section?
