I would like to know is whether the creation of multiple levels of subcategories is a native functionality (functionality CORE) defined through the setup or my developer will have to customize the plugin (changing the code)
GuruIts not a native functionality (CORE functionality) defined through the setup, but can be setup by your developer. I have seen one website which used subcategories instead of the tags in the question listing page and ask question page.

Log in to Dashboard>> Plugins>> Add New

Under Search,enter DW Question & Answer or Question to search the plugin.

Click Install Now to install the WordPress Plugin.Install Plugins.Install Now.Install the plugin.
Once done,remember to click on “Activate Plugin” link.

download the plugin package at http://cmspioneer.com/designwall/wordpress/plugins/dw-question-answer/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/dw-question-answer/
Login in to your WordPress site Dashboard>>Plugins>>Add New
Then click on the Upload Tab,browse the DW Question & Answer file and upload it (zip file only).
Install Plugins,Upload,Bowse,Install Now,Back-end Settings.
Make sure that you click on Activate Plugin Link.Activate Plugin.Update The Plugin.Go to Dashboard>>Plugins,if DW Question & Answer Plugin update is available,an alert on the Plugin’smenu title,just click on “update now” link to start updating as show below:update now.

To uninstall the DW Question & answer plugin,please follw the instruction below:
Go to Plugins>>Install Plugins,find the DW Question & Answer plugin.
Click on “deactivate” link.

After deactivating the plugin,continue to click on “Delete” link to delete the plugin.
