Link to Member Profile Not Working

We have buddypress installed on our site and just added the Q&A plugin. This is URL structure of the link to the member profile on our site http://www.sitename/members/username. However, in the DW Q&A plugin, when a user asks or answers a question, the link to the member profile is this http://www.sitename/author/username).  Notice that instead of members the plugin URL uses author. As such, when you click on the user’s name, you are taken to a blank page. How do we fix this? Did anybody else encounter this issue? If so, how did you solve the problem? Help please! Many thanks!
