Log-in / password issue??

I am having log-in issues with DW Q & A plug in. When users create an account to post a question, they are not prompted to create a password nor are they receiving an email with a password log-in. Therefore, they cannot respond to their thread or post a new question unless they use another email address every time. 
 
Any suggestions to fix this issue?
