I am using the CodeStyling Localization plugin to translate my website’s content from English to Greek.  With this plugin I am able to generate the .po and .mo files and translate the words accordingly.  When I use the plugin to translate the DQ Q&A plugin, it works for a few days and then, suddently, the Greek language disappears from the CodeStyling Localization (language) list and hence the mo and po files disappear!  It happened twice, first time I thought It may have something to do with updating either plugins.  This time It seems to have happened prior to me updating any of the two plugins.  Anyone can help?

Hi,
To translate the DW Q&A plugin, you can find here for the document guide on how to translate the plugin: http://cmspioneer.com/designwall/guide/dw-question-answer-plugin/#how_to_translate_dw_question_answer_plugin

Hi Dominic,

I used the CodeStyling Localization Plugin instead of Poedit. It worked fine and I were able to create the .mo and .po files. The translation appeared on my website correctly. It just disappears after some time. Is there a known incompatibility of DW Q&A with the CodeStyling Localization Plugin?

I had a look at the link you provided about using Poedit. Towards the end, it is instructed (Quote) “Please note: If you keep your custom translation files in wp-content/plugins/dw-question-answer/languages, they can be replaced when updating. Therefore, make sure that you made a backup your language files before upgrading the plugin.”
I am not sure I understand what this means. If one uses Poedit for the translation, is it necessary to save / retrieve the custom translation files every time the DW Q&A plugin is updated? Is there a way around this issue?
