I am being told by my host that they are ran internal WordPress diagnostics and found that the theme was executing 900+ queries. Is this the normal behavior? Until the page is in cache, it’s pretty slow to load.
I have a link here to what they ran: http://cl.toddstowell.com/image/0F0h402W1P0i
Any thoughts? The site is http://www.commdiginews.com

Hi Jacquie,
How often does your site update new articles?
I can suggest a solution that you can try to use transient API, based on this article:  http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/speed-up-your-wordpress-by-caching-custom-queries-using-transients-api/
We will improve the theme performance in other update version.
