DW Question and Answer plugin version 1.2.3 is now available

I know, I know, we just released the updated version 1.2.2 of DW Question and Answer plugin and now a new version is out? It’s a bit crazy, isn’t it 🙂

But since it’s a big feature to add, we cannot wait but to release a new version for the plugin, so here we go: DW Question and Answer plugin version 1.2.3 with Front-end Edit Question.

Edit – Delete questions

The name speaks for itself meaning! Now everyone can take the control over their own questions by having an option to edit/delete their questions directly on the front-end.

In old version of the plugin, we only support to edit and delete answers and comments only. Now in version 1.2.3 and up, we apply this for Question as well. A small icon is placed on the top right hand-side of a question when you hover over a question, simply click on the icon to edit or delete your question.

The visual Editor is supported to make it easy for editing. You can edit both question title and content.

Of course when we add the option to edit and delete a question, we also add the user roles permission settings for this option as well. Located in DW Q&A > Settings > Permission, as the admin of the site you can set which user roles be able to Edit/ Delete questions.

Other updates and bug fixes

Language updates: Thanks for the contribution of Ahmet Kolcu from, we now have support Turkish language for the plugin 😉 We will support more and more languages thanks to all the contribution all over the world. If you already translate the plugin and are using in your own language, please contribute the translation to the community and we welcome you to do so.

Bug fix on Insert Code button: we have fixed the bug regarding the Insert Code button in the editor. We now added directly for the editor of DW Question and Answer plugin and the bug resolved.

Download and Update

That’s is for now. Please download and update the plugin to the latest version and remember to back up your files before update, we don’t want you to lose many hours of custom work.
