How about configuring the EC2 instance to support whatever email notification framework you are utilizing at the moment?

DominicWe have used wp_email – this is a default WordPress code – in order to apply for our own product and of course, it is working well with other Email WordPress plugins as well as mandrill and smtp. By the way, we are using mandrill on our Designwall.
