I have template that has a main search field which is already enough for searching purposes. So the questions listing page has a second search box which is duplication and doesn’t look good. Is there a safe was to disable/hide the search box in the DWQA all questions page?

Hi Guru,
You can make a folder “dwqa-templates” in your theme’s folder, copy the file “<your-site-folder>/wp-content/plugins/dw-question-answer/inc/templates/default/archive-question.php” in to the folder “dwqa-templates” that you created before.
Then open “archive-question.php”, in <your-site-folder>/wp-content/themes/<your-theme-folder>/dwqa-templates”, remove the code from line 17 to 24

 <div class="dwqa-search">
<form action="" class="dwqa-search-form">
<input class="dwqa-search-input" placeholder="<?php _e('Search','dwqa') ?>">
<span class="dwqa-search-submit fa fa-search show"></span>
<span class="dwqa-search-loading dwqa-hide"></span>
<span class="dwqa-search-clear fa fa-times dwqa-hide"></span>
</form>
</div>

Please let me know how it works when you are done.
Regards

That looks great,
What changes did you make ? I would love to have that look on my site.

In this case, you can add the following code to the style.css file of your theme:
.dwqa-search { display: none;}

How would I make a Drop down with the categories in it ?

We have created a categories widget to help you filter the questions in a category. If you want to have it, you can create a position sidebar in the question list and insert this widget to show on the page.

Firstly, you can find here for the document guide on how to register sidebar: <a href="https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/dynamic_sidebar&quot; rel="nofollow">https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/dynamic_sidebar</a&gt;
After register sidebar, you can use the following code to insert sidebar to position that you want to show: http://prntscr.com/hklz5s

Also, If you still face their issue, we are ready to help you with a custom work with a charge of fee.
In case that you are still interested in the feature, please kindly let us know, we will check and estimate the time.
