Thanks for the suggestion, it is indeed a good idea.
We have been thinking about the point system from the beginning (we were inspired by Flattr system http://flattr.com/)
This function will take up a whole system behind it, from creating/assigning points to users, then how you would handle those points/data and covert it into actions.
No promise at the moment, but we are growing the plugin bigger and bigger, so this feature we will definitely add it.
By the way, we have push up our Q&A project to Github: https://github.com/wp-plugins/dw-question-answer, so you and anyone are welcome to contribute to the code 🙂

Peter ArmentiI’m looking for a user point system also.. and perhaps at least some short code for displaying a users points and recent questions and answers activity on their profiles on my site. Any expections for this?

We are discussing on the Roadmap for the plugin.
Sure that we will include the point system, but for the specific time, we are still discussing over it. Will get you updated later on.
