Is there an option to sort answers via votes with DW Q&A? I mean that the more an answer gains positive votes, the more it is on the top of the list with answers and vice versa?

Hi,
At the moment, our plugin does not support this feature. I sent and notified our technical team about this problem, we will discuss about it.

Thanks! It would be good to have a checkbox in the options, to activate a simple sort algorithm that sorts answers via the number of votes. Should not be very hard to implement…

Is there an update on this?

I don’t like the idea of selecting a best answer and putting that up top because it closes the question which discourages others from answering (not everyone uses this site for support).

If it’s just an order by votes situation someone might still add an answer thinking that before too long they’ll get more votes and their answer will float to the top.

I think this is a critical feature.

If you would implement this feature regulary into your Q&A system, I could support this step. Trevor Lyman, what do you think?

Thanks guys! This is great. But what do I do? How do I install this? Do I have to uninstall the first version, then install this? Will I lose any set up if I do that? You can email me with instructions if that is better. However you like. And thanks again! This is great!!

You can remove the older plugin and install the new package that I sent you.

Thank you. This is very nice but it seems to be backwards? The lowest scoring posts are at the top instead of the highest scoring.

I need to roll it back for now, but please let me know…

Thanks again! πŸ™‚

This feature is missing definitely… and I think there is already a solution: https://www.designwall.com/question/is-there-a-way-we-can-sort-the-answers-based-on-the-votes/

Arsalan Ahmed had extended DW Q&A with own code. It would be great if you were able to get it and implement the sort answers based on votes feature?

You are great, thanks a lot! Is the sorting algorithm already sorting in the right direction or will I need a newer version?
