We know that the regular updates to the latest version are essential for software development, and for the WordPress themes & plugins development in particular. This will protect the website from the potential risk of vulnerability. Being well aware of the importance of such update process, we have just built up a remote update system for our products and plugins.

Instead of the manual update, we used the one-click-update feature to give an update message in the Dashboard when the latest updates are available on our update server. Thus, you do not have to access on DesignWall or check the email to get the latest version.

How to implement remote update for themes and plugins?

Step 1: The first step you need is to manually download the latest version of products on DesignWall via My Account > Downloads

My Account Page

The following version of themes or higher are ready to implement one-click-update:

Step 2: Navigate to My Account > License Keys to get the license keys in accordance with the products you purchased.

Step 3: Once you get the license key for your product, let’s navigate to Dashboard of your website, go to the menu: Appearance > Theme Licenses as shown below:

Enter the license key you copied from the step 2 into the License field and press “Save Changes”.

Next time, when each of our theme ( or WordPress core, plugins, and other themes) releases a new update, you will see a notice in your Dashboard as follows:

Providing that your license key remains active, just simply click on this menu and start update process normally.
